The boat shaped Spiral fins minimize Drag Forces while running pipe. The fins glide smoothly in the low side of horizontal bore holes.

Wide symmetrical fins are smoothly beveled on the both ends to have lower coefficient of friction and to ease casing movement in either direction. Fins designs also resist high side load. Spirally oriented Fins are welded to the one piece rolled formed End Collar under required temperature and condition with extra low Hydrogen coated Electrodes, which assures ultimate strength and uniformity in every weld. Steel construction provides superior toughness over other materials.

Vanes can be selected to meet any hole dia from a choice of seven boat profile depths. Slip On Spiralizor are provided for direct installation on the pipe by slipping on and can be provided with compatible Stop Collars beveled from one side positioned by set screw.

SledgeHammer Stand of Band is designed to provide a positive stand off the casing for both cased and open holes. The angled fins provide increased turbulent flow. These Stand off Band is require where close tolerance between the casing and the hole is being encountered. Mainly it's designed for the liner applications.

Design of the stand off Band allows for reciprocation and rotation during cementing and can be installed between Set Screw Stop Collar (SC04). SledgeHammer's Welded Spiral Vane Solid Rigid Centralizer Fixed is designed same as Welded Spiral Vane Solid Rigid Centralizer except rows of set screws on the outer periphery of centralizer to restrict rotation. It can be easily converted from fixed to non fixed design by detaching set screws and positioning with stop collars.

Straight Vane Aluminum Rigid Centralizer -DAV02

The DAVO2 should be used in areas where a good primary cementing job is required, including deviated and horizontal wells, liner overlaps, and shoe joints. They are suitable for either cased or open hole."DAV02" are made of high tensile, solid, cast aluminum, for shock, impact, and corrosion resistance.

Vane ends are beveled 30 degrees relative to casing centerline to provide excellent lead into restrictions, and reduced drag when running into hole. Wide vanes distribute load from the casing string into the wellbore without gouging. It is made of softer material than wellhead equipment to avoid damage to the wellhead when running through. Has provided excellent results in extended reach and horizontal applications. The design of the vanes keeps running forces at a minimum. Any special sizes or combination can available on request.

Straight Vane Aluminum Rigid Centralizer Fixed -DAV03
Available in 3 1/2" to 20" sizes + any special sizes

All the features are same as DAV02 except screws between vanes. The DAVO3 should be used in areas where a good primary cementing job is required, including deviated and horizontal wells, liner overlaps, and shoe joints. They are suitable for either cased or open hole."DAV03" are made of high tensile, solid, cast aluminum, for shock, impact, and corrosion resistance same as "DAV02".

Aluminum Spiral Vane Solid Rigid Centralizer -DAS02

SledgeHammer's Aluminium Spiral Solid Centralizers are developed in response to the need for better cementing in high deviated and horizontal well. These are designed to provide optimum flow and its fins or blades overlap the entire 360-degree open hole circumference. Therefore its reduced flow area between the spiral provides and creates vortex motion to increase fluid velocity with direction.

Even without rotation, the relived angle fins/ blades induce turbulent flow for improved cutting and filter cake removal. The angle of the uniquely designed spiral fin produced maximum fluid swirl, thus maximum removal of debris around the casing in any type of hole. These Centralizers withstand high well bore temperature while providing maximum horizontal standoff.

All the same features as the Straight Aluminum Rigid except with spiral vanes.
"DAS 03" is made of high tensile, solid, cast aluminum, for shock, impact, and corrosion resistance. Vanes overlap the entire 360-degree open hole circumference. Reduced flow area between the spiral vanes provides a vortex motion for increased fluid velocity.

If rotation is required, install without setscrews and position between stop-collars, or between stop-collar and casing collar. Provides positive standoff between casing and wellbore. Made of softer material than wellhead equipment to avoid damage to the wellhead when running through. If rotation is not required than just tighten up screw on the shown on picture. Available with left-hand or right-hand vanes in some sizes.

Sledge Hammer's Steel Twin Blade Rotating centralizers are unique special purpose centralizers because of its design. The Full 360-degree radius fins provide a long lead-in on the fins. This is ideal for running casing in unusually irregular well bores, for guiding the casing and providing the maximum flexibility for the casing string.

The 45 degree angled fins create a radial swirling fluid motion when the fluid being pumped. Therefore radial motion eliminates channeling, it pick up well solids from the low side, get the mud out, and put the cement in. This feature provides excellent circumference standoff from the wellbore. The vanes are tapered at the top and bottom which decreases drag during running into the casing or well bore.

These centralizers are not fixed to the casing. Its rotates up and down by the use of Stop Collar. Its some how works like a bearing and greatly reduce the torque which is necessary to rotate the casing. Its outer dia is always lesser by 1/4" or 6 mm from wellbore.

Low Torque Roller Centralizer-DZRD01

Sledge Hammer's Roller Centralizers are specially designed to run in inclined or horizontal section. The rollers' envelope outside diameter is kept slightly larger than the centralizer fins' envelope outer diameter. The Rollers' envelope inside diameter is kept slightly larger than the fins' envelope inner diameter.

When casing equipped with Roller Centralizer runs into the deviated or horizontal hole, the sliding friction between the casing and the borehole is converted into rolling friction. In case of irregular hole diameter, the borehole wall has an impact force on the spiral centralizer during running casings, the use of rollers reduce this impact. Torque reduction is provided by vertical alignment of rollers on the periphery of Roller Centralizer.
