Cement Basket
Sledge Hammer Asia provides two types of cement baskets which are run above the liners or casing which have weak or porous formations and needs to be protected from Hydrostatic pressure exerted by the cement column. These oilfields cement baskets can be used in cased hole as well open hole formulations. The baskets should be allowed to travel on the joint of the casing. Being a reputed basket cement manufacturer, the products are convenient to install around the casing OD. The baskets have bulging shaped bows which are welded to both ends collars that provide added strength and durability. They offer greater adaptability to expansion. This type of cement basket can be rotated and reciprocated. This type of cement basket is available with welded and non-welded convex shaped bows. The two main types are SH15- H Hinged Welded Cement Basket and SH15-NW-H Hinged Non-Welded Cement Basket. Take a look at the main types:
Slip On Welded Cement Basket -SH15
Available in 4 1/2" to 30 "sizes + any special sizes
The Slip On Welded Cement Basket comprises of slip-on type high strength with flexible bows that are mounted on the end collar. The cement basket has ability to accommodate much larger than nominal hole sizes. They are available in 4 ½” to 30” sizes and any kind of specific sizes.
With this type of design cement basket can be rotated and reciprocated. This type of Cement Basket is available with welded and non-welded convexshape bows.

Canvas Cement Basket -SH15-CCB
Available in 4 1/2" to 30 "sizes + any special sizes
The Canvas Cement Baskets consists of heavy duty canvas liners concentrated to staves and fabricated using high strength, flexible steel bows that are mounted on the steel slip-on end collar. The baskets are not duplicated and occasionally allow traveling the length of the joint to allow pipe movement. The cement basket has better ability to adapt to the bore hole and can accommodate larger than nominal hole sizes. The sizes are available for all kinds of hole sizes and standard casing. They are recommended for use in all kinds of standards casing grades.
